Hello Beautiful Friends,

My name is Katrina.

 I turned 50, October of 2024. So, yes! I am a GEN-Xer. I grew up in a small town in Maryland. PG County, where everyone knows everyone.  Most of us that are left standing are still close friends and are in contact with the ones we grew up with. Strong bonds and life-long friends were made in our small town thru Music shows, Concerts, Muscle Cars, Street Racing, Malls, Arcades, Pools, Roller Rinks, Ice Rinks, Six Flags, Battle of the Bands, parties in parks, back yards and farm fields. Many crazy and amazing memories made for the ones that survived our Generation. We were definitely fearless and learned how to have fun together. Most of the time, all of the fun. So grateful to grow up in this time and place with my PG County friends! Still grateful for you all.

I was blessed to have a dear older Brother. My protector, muse, loving antagonizer, friend and later my Christian Mentor and triumphant example of living in service. Selflessly living, breathing and embodying his purpose and relationship with Christ. He was by no means the perfect human. He always had a very wild side and an enjoyable twisted humor. Later, his example of living and bringing his life full circle back to Christ was not only surprising, but also glorious to witness. Healing and making amends for past harms he may have caused, Service to men in Recovery, Church Fellowship, Community, Food Banks, praying over people where ever he went and endless stories of helping strangers in need. Becoming and amazing Father to his 3 beautiful girls, guiding my son into manhood, and the most loving Grandfather to his 4 gorgeous grandchildren. 

Big Brother, You lived well.  I dedicate these projects to you for the loving example you have been. I will always be grateful for you and carry you in my Heart. Till we meet again.

I am a proud single Mom of 2 beautiful, grown children who have already left the nest and are living their lives independently as adults.

Also, live with one of my dearest friend which is also my Father. He has been an amazing support and example of a great Christian in my life. Setting the most beautiful example of selflessness and kindness towards others. Not to forget his role as the best Grandfather to my children. Helping me raise them as the masculine balance in our home. I will be eternally grateful to him for everything he is and has sacrificed for our family unit. I pray he lives to be 100 years old, healthy and never leaves me.   

 It definitely took a village to raise these children. I am forever grateful to friends, family, neighbors, priests, nuns and an amazing school faculty. I could never had done this alone.

To all of my Tribe, I have some how magically connected to and cherished along the way. So many beautiful souls that have helped me navigate my shadows and celebrate life's mile stones.  Some live close and many live far away, but this has never kept us from picking right back off where we left off or weakened our bonds. My heart is full of so much joy and love for all of my dear friends I consider to be my Soul Family. Eternally grateful for each of you.

This may be my Mid-Life Crisis? Who knows? The kids are grown and gone, I quit my career in the "Rat Race" of over 30 something years in a medical field of Optometry. I worked thru my wounds and shadows. Had a crazy Spiritual Awakening, became a Hypnotherapist, found God, lost my brother to Cancer, started Peri-Menopause, and now feeling more creative, alive and inspired than ever before.  Many, many inspired ideas coming out of my brain daily. Feeling now I have little time to do all the things I am so inspired and called to do.

So, yes! This may become the new definition in the Urban Dictionary for Mid-Life Crisis?

Welcome to my imagination...This is just the beginning of more to come.
